Whether your twins are born early, on time, or late, your pediatrician will track the height, weight, and head circumference of your babies for the next 2+ years.
The reason for tracking these items is to make sure that your baby is making progress with each designated time. If your baby drops in the percentile, this may flag the pediatricians to check on reasons why. If your baby stops progressing, then this is cause for concern. The doctors visits are usually every 3 months, coinciding some visits with vaccines.
